Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge Liberal EDA
Building a Better Future, Together
Get Involved and Make a Difference
The Pitt Meadows-Maple Ridge Liberal EDA is a grassroots, community-driven team working to make politics feel less like a shouting match and more like a conversation around the kitchen table. We put people before party, and we believe Canada is stronger when we work together.
People First, Politics Second
We are neighbours, parents, workers, and volunteers who care deeply about what happens here in Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, West Mission and across Canada.
As the local Liberal Electoral District Association (EDA), our role is to connect national values with local realities. That means listening to our community, supporting candidates, and helping shape policy ideas that reflect real lives, not just talking points.
We believe politics should be a tool for community care, not division.
We make space for honest, respectful conversations. We seek common ground, even if we disagree. We work with people across perspectives to solve shared problems.
People are tired of feeling like they have to “pick a side” and stay there. So are we.
Unity over wedges – We resist “us vs. them” framing and look for solutions that benefit the community as a whole.
Listening before speaking – We host conversations, not lectures. We want to hear what’s working, what isn’t, and what keeps you up at night.
Evidence over slogans – We take policy seriously. We look for ideas grounded in data, lived experience, and long-term thinking.
Middle ground, not middle-of-the-road – We’re not afraid of nuance. Sometimes the best answers live between the extremes.
Whether you’ve voted Liberal all your life, never voted before, or aren’t sure where you “fit,” you’re welcome at this table.
Our EDA is committed to politics from a place of being on the same team instead of facing off as opponents. We focus on:
